The MOYEDO FM series gear flowmeter (ball bearing design) is mainly used for lubricating and low viscosity liquids. Therefore, this series is particularly suitable for measuring fuel consumption and quantitative feeding of low viscosity media.

The production process of this series of gear flow meters only uses high-quality steel that can even withstand corrosive liquids. In addition, with the use of high-quality precision ball bearings, the MOYEDO FM series products can ensure measurement accuracy and longer service life under harsh application conditions. Ball bearings can achieve very small starting torque of measuring components. This way, even low flow rates can be accurately measured.

The MOYEDO FM series gear flowmeter (designed with tungsten carbide sleeve bearings) is mainly used for measuring lubricating and non lubricating liquids. It is also suitable for filled, viscous, and frictional media.

Principles and Design

The FM gear flow meter is a volumetric flow meter. Two precision gears can rotate freely in the measurement chamber.

A sealing chamber is formed between the gear and the casing. The measured medium drives the gear to rotate. The flowing medium is evenly distributed in the measurement chamber and drives the gear to rotate. The gear rotates freely and is not hindered by medium flow. Rotation frequency of gears.

The rate is proportional to the flow rate and is measured by a non-invasive sensor on the casing wall. 

The sensor system can be flexibly adjusted according to application requirements. This can achieve very high resolution and also collect signals to determine the direction of flow (for example). 

It is possible to analyze pulses per unit volume. The calibration coefficient (K-coefficient) of the flowmeter represents the specific pulse rate per unit volume. In order to determine the calibration coefficients of each flow meter, we conducted indoor calibration on each flow meter before shipment. During the calibration process, the viscosity of the working fluid specified by the customer was also considered. Each flowmeter we supply comes with a corresponding calibration certificate.

Due to its high output frequency, good resolution, and short response time, our gear flow meters excel in pulse flow measurement, consumption measurement, and liquid dosing.
